Workshops for adults at Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair 31 Oct

The fun isn’t just for the children at the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair! This year we are introducing workshops for adults including wreath making, table decoration creation and the chance to make a natural door swag.

More details about the workshops and how to book are below. Workshops are limited to 20 people per session and must be booked in advance, booking opens to the public on 3rd November and closes 18th November. To book please email trade@lincolnshireshowground.co.uk.

Lincolnshire Co-op Florist Wreath Workshop

Saturday 26th November and Sunday 27th November - 2pm - 4pm

Whether you're looking to showcase your creative flair or have always fancied giving it a go - why not join the expert team from the Lincolnshire Co-op Florists at one of our special wreath making workshops.
All materials will be provided along with hints and tips to help you create your very own wreath and gain a new skill which you can use all year round.
Each guest will receive a free mince pie and a drink – and get to take your creation home to enjoy over the festive period!
Numbers are limited, so book now to confirm your place!

Festive Table Decoration and Natural Door Swag Workshop with Diane Smith

Diane Smith is offering two workshops over the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair for adults. Participants are invited to create either a Festive Table decoration (Saturday) or a natural door swag (Sunday).

Diane is a qualified teacher/demonstrator with NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arranging Societies) with over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of floral art and will be on hand throughout the workshops to offer professional tuition.

Festive Table Decoration Workshop - Saturday 26th November, 10am – 12pm

Make and keep your own beautiful Festive table floral arrangement. The arrangement will incorporate 2 x tapered candles, natural dried fruit/cones and seasonal spruce.

Festive Natural Door Swag Workshop - Sunday 27th November, 10am – 12pm

Make and keep your own beautiful festive door swag. The swag will consist of a variety of fresh seasonal foliage’s plus natural dried fruit and cones. All finished off with an attractive tartan bow.

Booking information:

The workshop is open to all abilities – do come along and enjoy the workshop. All materials will be provided to achieve your finished design with hints and tips on flower arranging techniques and skills.

Each guest will receive a free mince pie and a drink – and get to take home their completed door swag or table decoration.
Please bring with you secateurs or sharp scissors.

Price – £35pp, includes free entry to Food and Gift.
Venue – Exo Centre, Lincolnshire Showground.
