News from the Lincolnshire Showground

What a successful initiative Tractors into school has been! The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS) and Lincolnshire Young Farmers have been working together to connect students and schools with local farmers to educate the students about farming and the important role the farmer and the Tractor plays in getting food from field to fork.

The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society’s (LAS) Ag-Career’s Event held on 6th February 2024 was a huge success! With over 600 students coming to speak and learn from our 33 exhibitors, it was great to see both exhibitors and students bringing their A- game because our Epic Centre and EXO Building were buzzing with opportunity and ambition!

Hosted by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, the annual conference saw farmers, exhibitors and industry experts come together to openly discuss the opportunities the agricultural industry is being given and how we can really integrate the opportunities we have been presented with.

CITB supported Training Group, Lincoln Group Training Association (LGTA) once again took the lead on this exciting annual event, held across three days at the Lincolnshire Showground.

Last month the Lincolnshire Showgroundsponsered The University of Lincoln International Business School 'Event Management' Award at the annual Prize Giving Carmony, which took place on Thursday 7 September 2023. Congratulations to Sze Yat Chan (Christy).
