The Lincolnshire Chef to bring pop-up restaurant to Lincolnshire Show 06 Mar

Recently awarded his second AA Rosette for his ever-changing local and seasonal menus, Steven and his team have devised a menu that embraces all things Lincolnshire, exclusively for the Lincolnshire Show. The Comfy Duck will be serving a delicious breakfast and brunch throughout the morning, and then will be serving its Lincolnshire Show-inspired afternoon tea, Lincolnshire Cheese and Charcuterie Boards, with a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks to accompany.

Alongside their delicious menus, The Comfy Duck team will also be hosting its Gin and Fizz Bar, offering refreshing gin and tonics, including an exclusive launch of Lincolnshire's very own Pin Gin, and Villa Sandi Prosecco.

Steven Bennett said: "It's such as honour to be the first pop-up restaurant to showcase at the Lincolnshire Show. I've worked with Jayne, Sally and the team for the past few years, cooking and hosting in The Lincolnshire Kitchen, and it's always such a great event to be involved with.

"For the pop-up restaurant we've created a menu that naturally gives a nod to all things Lincolnshire, with a few twists. The pop-up will be based next to the Countryside Ring, so hopefully diners will be able to enjoy some delicious food, a selection of drinks with some good old British sunshine while watching the world pass by for an hour or two!"

Breakfast and brunch will be an offering of Stokes Tea & Coffee and freshly made juices, with a delicious selection of homemade granola, yogurts, fruits and an array of eggs and sides on toast including bacon and avocado. For those wanting to start their day off with a bang, the restaurant will be offering a full Lincolnshire breakfast, the perfect way for any show-goer to start their day.

Sweets featuring in the afternoon tea include a delicious gin and tonic scone served with chantilly cream and lime curd, a tennis ball macaron, and a few more quintessential English summer delights.

Proud and well-known for their allergen-friendly menus, The Comfy Duck will be offering a full gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and children's menu too, with pre-ordering and booking highly advised.

The restaurant is now taking bookings for the Lincolnshire Show - for details on how to book, just click here.
