Lambretta Club 09 Jul

With the weekend fast approaching (10th-12th July 2015) sees the Lambretta Club host the National Scooter Rally at the Lincolnshire Showground. This celebration will gather over 3000 riders as well as members of the public, with a variety of entertainment for all the family. With temperatures expected to hit the mid 20's, we expect the event to attract many from across the country and around the world.

The Lambretta Club of Great Britain is the largest Lambretta club in the world with around 4,500 members. They offer a huge range of services to members from over 40 different club shop items, to help and advice on things to purchasing and running/restoring a Lambretta. The Lambretta motor scooter started life in 1947, originating as a way to get Italy mobile after the Second World War. The Lambretta revolutionised the way people travelled, with owners clubs soon appearing throughout the world; providing a means of transport but also as a hobby and way of life.

Turning our attention back to the event this weekend, the rally will host a variety of entertainment across the weekend including a scooter race, custom show and a selection of live bands who will be performing across the Friday and Saturday as well as into the evenings. A dealer village will be available with everything from t-shirts to scooters to purchase. Additionally a selection of food court stands and bars are available.

With the warm weather expected to remain over the weekend, many will be in attendance camping and enjoying the event and all it has to offer. Here at the Showground we have a variety of events taking place every weekend, so keep updated through our website – www.lincolnshireshowground.co.uk.
