The Rolling Scone offer sweet treats at Countryside Lincs 04 Apr

Contributed by The Rolling Scone

Hello! Let us introduce you to The Rolling Scone, a bespoke outside catering company run by lifelong friends Rachel and Hannah. Sharing a passion (and reputation) for cooking up feasts and organising events, it was perhaps inevitable that they would at some point unite to turn their often discussed ideas into a reality.

Having graduated as a Pastry Chef from Le Cordon Bleu in 2014, Rachel returned to Lincoln where Hannah had been studying Business Studies. They combined forces and The Rolling Scone was born, providing a friendly and professional catering service for a wide range of events. With more than 10 years experience working and managing in the service industry, qualifications in Food Safety and a 5* food hygiene rating, The Rolling Scone has successfully catered for weddings, christenings, dinner parties, afternoon teas and more - tailoring each event to suit its hosts. Our service really is bespoke, ensuring you get exactly what you want, served just as you want it.

However The Rolling Scone is not only an outside catering service for events - we're also bakers and specialise in cakes, pastries and macarons. We are delighted to return to the Lincolnshire Showground on Sunday 9 April for Countryside Lincs, where we will be showcasing a range of our delicious macarons and other sweet treats for you to sink your teeth into.

Macarons are originally a French delicacy and date back to the Renaissance when they were first made as treats for celebratory occasions. They later became increasingly popular across Paris as a small, delicate treat to indulge in when you felt the need for something sweet. These are the perfect treat to give to loved ones, enjoy with a cup of tea after a long day, to serve as a post-dinner treat or simply to indulge in yourself. All of our macarons are handmade with much care and attention and we adapt our range of flavours to suit each season. Despite their trickiness to made, seeing them all lined up never fails to make us smile! We hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.

Please pop by and visit us at Countryside Lincs, see what we have on offer and stay for a chat. For more information about our range of products and our catering services please visit our website or Facebook page.
