Lincolnshire Food and Gift Fair: Top Tips! 19 Nov

Our Exo Centre, Epic Centre, and Marquee between, will be transformed into a festive wonderland! They will be full to the brim with exhibitors and carol singers wanting to help get you into the Christmas spirit. No need for last minute panic buying, as you can find all of the gifts you need here at the Food and Gift fair!

We have lots of returning exhibitors, along with Santa, and our annual toy collection for the Christmas Pack Project organised by Bridge Central Church.

New for this year, we will have adult workshops running alongside our children’s workshops! There will be wreath making, door swag making, and table decoration workshops available across the weekend, which you can book by emailing trade@lincolnshireshowground.co.uk.

Here at the Lincolnshire Showground, the festive season is one of our favourite times of the year – can you blame us? That’s why our team have put together their top tips for making the most of your visit to the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair!

Make sure you check the website for the full list of exhibitors. There are so many exhibitors to get round so it is a great idea to plan your day. Bring a list of who you need to buy gifts for, that way you won’t forget whilst buying little treats for yourself too! - Jade Houlton, Sales and Events Executive

Buy local for your boxing day feast! Cheese, chutney, sausage rolls, wine – you’ll find everything you need. There will likely be samples of it all too, so make sure you try before you buy! - Emily Freeman, Sales and Events Executive

Get into the festive spirit listening to the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Band in the marquee with a gooey cheese toastie from Gouda for the Soul! It really is the perfect start to the festive season. - Sarah Duxbury, Business Development and Trade Sales Manager

Our Santa’s Bake House is the perfect way to break up the day for little ones. Making treats such as pigs in blankets and festive flapjacks to take home at the end of the day – the free workshops from local businesses are a lovely way to support local and keep the kids entertained! - Josie Jamieson, Education Events Administrator

Walk into the smell of Christmas! Festive scents and aromas from all of the different stands – candles, diffusers, and food – make it really feel like Christmas! - Tim Sleight, Finance Manager

With this being my first year at the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair, I’m looking forward to seeing what’s on offer. I’m most excited for the cookery demo’s in the Lincolnshire Kitchen and getting some festive baking inspiration from Sandy Docherty! - David Beech, Conference and Events Supervisor

Our members preview evening is one of my favourite parts of the weekend! LAS members new and old, getting together for a few drinks, a sneak peak of what will be on offer over the weekend, and new for this year – a carol service! Cheese, wine, and carol singing – what could be more festive?! - Alice Joyce, Membership and LAS Events Administrator

Bring your little ones along to our Santa’s Workshop for lots of fun Christmas adventures. Make some reindeer food at our Food Bar, to sprinkle on your lawn on Christmas eve so Santa knows where to come! - Rosie Crust, Education and Development Officer

It really is a lovely festive family day out. Make sure you take part in our Elf Trail! It is a great way to make sure you get round the whole fair and see all of the amazing things on offer. - Sophia Williamson, Senior Sales and Events Executive

It is a great place to get your Christmas shopping done early, while enjoying the warm festive atmosphere. There are gifts for everyone – stocking fillers, alcohol, craftwork, and sweet treats. No excuse to leave it until Christmas Eve! Judith Flatley, Finance and Administration Assistant

Santa’s Workshop is a must visit for young families! All workshops are free, so you can keep your children engaged when you take a break from shopping, and they get to take home what they make! The food and gift fair really is fun for all the family. Suzy Stone, Education Coordinator
