What is the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair?
Held at the Lincolnshire Showground, the two-day event and will see more than 150 exhibitor stands. The Fair will showcase a range of delicious treats and unique gift ideas, perfect for the festive season.
The Lincolnshire Food and Gift Fair is organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, a registered charity whose aims are to educate visitors about food, farming, and the countryside.
When is it?
Saturday 25 November
Sunday 26 November
The event will open from 9am to 4pm both days. Last admission is 3pm on both days.
How much are tickets?
Advanced tickets will be £5.50 each (plus booking fees) and can be bought online via SeeTickets only. Tickets on the door will be £7.
Entry for under 5s will be free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Tickets are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold for commercial gain.
When do tickets go off-sale?
Advanced tickets go off-sale at 23:00 on Friday 24th November. Tickets can be purchased on the day for £7.00 for general admission and under 5’s can enter for free.
Are tickets valid on both days?
Tickets will only admit once to the event on one of the days. Tickets can not be used on both days.
For anyone wanting to access the event on both days, you would need to purchase additional tickets.
Can I bring a Carer Companion/ Personal Assistant to the event?
Guests who require a carer are entitled to one Carer/Personal Assistant ticket at no extra charge. The ticket can be booked in advance of your visit or on the day. However, on arrival you are required to show documentation of the need for a Carer/Personal Assistant.
Documentation Required
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
- Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
- Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- A valid Blue Badge
- In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
- A local authority registration document which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted.
- A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card
- Credibility’s Access Card with +1 symbol
- A personal letter from GP, community nurse or social worker
- War pensions mobility allowance
An advanced ticket for carer/personal assistant can be issued be completing this form with your SeeTickets confirmation number and your documentation prior to 12 noon Monday 20th November 2023.
Alternatively, on the day, please bring your evidence to the ticket booth where you will be issued one free carer ticket.
Can I take items to my car and regain access to the event?
A stamp will be provided to anyone wanting to exit the event and re-enter on the same day only.
Is there parking at the event?
Visitors will have access to free parking. Parking is on grass nearby to the main entrance of the event.
Access to the car park is via Gate 1 (LN2 2NA)
Is the Lincolnshire Food and Gift Fair suitable for people with mobility issues?
Limited blue badge parking is available on hardstanding and forward parking will be available on grass once this is full. The Showground has disabled toilet facilities in both buildings and lift access to the first floor of the Epic Centre. The event is fully indoors and will be suitable for visitors with mobility issues.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
The event is held across two indoor halls at the Lincolnshire Showground, connected by a covered walk-way.
Can I get something to eat at the Fair?
Yes, the two buildings are joined by a covered walkway which will host hot food stands.
Can I bring my dog?
As this event is held indoors, we only permit entry for assistance dogs.
Can you bring your own food to the event?
Only food bought at the event can be consumed.
Can I withdraw cash at the event?
Cashback will be available from the ticket booth when buying your tickets or making a small purchase.
Can I trade at the event?
For all trade enquires please email trade@lincolnshireshowground.co.uk. Due to the high volume of enquires we can not accept trade enquires via phone.
What safety measure are in place at the event?
For the safety of all visitors to the event, we reserve the right to refuse admission, and may, on occasions conduct security searches.
At peak times the event can get busy, so we have the right to halt entry to the event, or to operate a one-way system.
