The Rolling Scone prepare for Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair 01 Nov

Contributed by The Rolling Scone

Hi! We're The Rolling Scone, a bespoke catering company comprising of childhood friends Hannah and Rachel, proudly making happy tummies since 2014. We've worked successfully as a team since the age of four and a few years ago were given the opportunity to develop that further. Having graduated as a Pastry Chef from Le Cordon Bleu in 2014, Rachel returned to Lincoln to join forces with Hannah, who left Lincoln University the same year after studying Business Studies.

With over 10 years experience working and managing in the service industry and qualifications in Food Safety and a 5* food hygiene rating from City of Lincoln Council, we have enjoyed successfully catering weddings, christenings, dinner parties and afternoon teas, tailoring each event to suit the hosts. We aim to use the freshest, local and seasonal produce wherever possible to help support other local independent businesses.

When we are not catering we love to bake and are very excited to be at the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair with a large display of macarons and other yummy treats to sink your teeth into! Macaroons, or Macarons as the French call them, date back to the Renaissance and were first made as treats for celebratory occasions. They later became increasingly popular across Paris as a small, delicate treat to indulge in when you felt the need for something sweet. These are the perfect pre-Christmas treat to give to loved ones, enjoy with a cup of tea after a long day or serve as a post dinner treat at a dinner party. We love these little dainty delicacies and we hope you will too!

For more treats and information please see our website, visit our Facebook page or give us a call on 07903 883594
