Just announced: Comedy Curry line-up 07 Aug

Comedy Curry is proving a recipe for success at the Lincolnshire Showground, returning for the eleventh time on Friday 10 November. The event welcomes four talented comedians from all over the country for a laughter-filled evening of entertainment, food and friends.

Compere: Paul Ricketts

Paul Ricketts is an award-winning comic who, since 2005, has been entertaining audiences across the UK and beyond. Since starting as an MC in his own London Comedy Club, Paul developed into a much sought after performer on the comedy circuit. His intelligent humour focuses not only on sharp observations from life, but also racial, cultural and satirical subjects, intermingled with strange tales of ordinary madness. Sometimes silly, serious or surreal, sometimes autobiographical, political or near the knuckle - but always funny!

"Weird and wonderful... should be given his own TV show." - The Stage

"Weaving the naturally comedic with both the ridiculous and the poignant." - Remotegoat.co.uk

Andrew McBurney

Since his first show at a Black Country open-mic night, Andrew McBurney has swiftly gained a reputation across the country as an astonishingly original comedian. With pitch-perfect delivery, his semi-character based 'Melancomedy' finds belly laughs in the bleakest of places and a lot more.

"I had the pleasure of watching an act for the first time who was refreshingly different but more importantly very, very funny. The kind of act after a few years experience you resent because you have to follow them." - Mick Ferry

"Andrew McBurney is one of the most original and intelligent acts I've seen in a long time, and he's very, very funny." - Joe Lycett

Kelsey de Almeida

Kelsey de Almeida's credits include winning 'Best Joke' in a Mock the Week competition at the age of 15, and also winning 'best gag' for an online competition in 2011 for Teenage Cancer Trust's comedy benefit night at the Royal Albert Hall - all before starting stand-up comedy. Some of the acts he has performed with and alongside include Jack Whitehall, Omid Djalili, Paul Chowdhry, Sara Pascoe, Seann Walsh, Tom Allen - and more!

"Definitely one to watch, an extremely strong 10 and easily capable with a well put together set. He's only 20 and very accomplished with excellent timing and a very natural presence." - The Stand Comedy Club

"Wins the audience over immediately with a combination of great material and confidence." - Glee Club

David Ward

Very much in demand, David Ward is a friendly, upbeat comic with a cynicism that gives his comedy a unique gentle bite. Fluid, quick thinking and with an original take on life, David is much sought after as both a great comedian and compere.

"Guaranteed to be well-received, especially as his material is so universe, making him a reliably funny addition to any bill." - Chortle

"Enjoyable and entertaining" - Time Out
