Behind the scenes in the Sports Zone 01 Jun
The area aims to offer something for everyone and this year Lincolnshire Sport are providing some brand new activities. You, your friends and family can come and have a go at human table football, roll around in giant hamster balls, or try out your tennis and golfing skills.
Holly Wells, Project Officer at Lincolnshire Sport, said: "We are really looking forward to the Lincolnshire Show this year, and we are delighted to be able to give people the opportunity to try out new activities at the show.
"There will be loads for children and adults to have a go at and there is sure to be something for everyone in the Sports Zone.
"Last year nearly 4,000 people visited the Sports Zone and we're hoping even more visitors to the show will get active this year."
Lincolnshire Sport works with a variety of sports organisations, clubs and National Governing Bodies to provide participation opportunities for the Lincolnshire Show.
For the first time ever, the Sports Zone will be a part of the Lincolnshire Show's Treasure Trail, providing the answer to a sporting question in the 2016 activity pack.
Rachel Belcher, Community Manager at Lincolnshire Sport, said: "Being part of the 2016 treasure trail will bring new people to the Sports Zone, and hopefully they will all find an activity that appeals to them."
