Half-term cooking fun at Uncle Henry's 11 Oct

Run by Bethan, owner of Pixie and the Dragon, the workshop lasts for two hours each and includes time to sit down and enjoy the food you have prepared. Group sizes are kept very small so that your child can concentrate on building their skills while having lots of fun. All of the ingredients and equipment are provided, and special dietary requirements can be catered for.

Bethan said: "Our cookery workshops not only give children the skills to prepare and cook healthy, tasty family meals; they also provide the opportunity to learn about and try different foods in a fun and interactive way."

Every day will be different, so why not book all three days and see how much your children's skills and confidence grows?

Bethan will be running two workshops a day, one in the morning from 10am until 12pm for children aged 4 - 7 years (must be accompanied by a parent or carer) and one in the afternoon from 1.30pm until 3.30pm for children aged 8 - 11 years.

Bethan added: "I have a background in animal behaviour and training, which some might say is very useful when working with children! I have taught up to degree level and have written for national children's publications. I developed a love of food and cooking from a very young age, helping my mother and grandmother out in the kitchen since I was a child. I have worked professionally in food for several years. Most recently I have been working with a national children's charity to deliver children's cookery courses in several regions across the country. I have seen what a positive impact they can have, and how much fun the children get from preparing and eating new foods. I have now set up my own company to bring those benefits to more children across Lincolnshire."
