Farmhouse Breakfast Week 19 Jan
For a whole week from 26th January classes of lower key stage 2 pupils will be joining us to celebrate Farmhouse Breakfast Week and the wealth of produce, which our county produces.
As the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society we know how important it is to educate the next generation on food farming and the countryside. That is why this campaign is something we are proud to be supporting fully.
With help from Wooden Spoon and Whisk and Alford NFU the children will take part in a fun-packed morning of activities including; fruity breakfast smoothie making, seed planting to learn where our cereals come from, and then have opportunity to ‘Meet the Farmer’ who grows them, making porridge with the perfect topping, and all before tucking into their own tasty breakfast creations.
We hope that the children have a wonderful morning learning outside the classroom, and go home inspired and knowing a little more about how important their breakfast is and where it comes from.
