Countryside Lincs 2020 - cancellation 19 Aug

Due to the continuing coronavirus situation, we have made the decision to cancel the postponed Countryside Lincs event due to take place on Saturday 17th October this year.

We are extremely sorry to have had to make this decision. Throughout the whole COVID-19 pandemic, we have been monitoring the coronavirus situation and feel that the safety and well-being of our staff, volunteers, exhibitors and visitors, is as always, our number one priority. As Countryside Lincs is an event that offers hands-on learning experiences and activities, we feel that it will be difficult to ensure that social distancing is adhered too.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting the event and for your patience during this difficult time.

We are excited to be introducing a brand-new outdoor event ‘Sunday Funday at the Showground’ which has been carefully planned and developed in line with the latest Government guidelines on outdoor events. The event due to take place in September 2020 (date to be confirmed) is aimed at families to come and enjoy the outdoors and explore the showground. The Sunday Funday will adhere to social distancing and be controlled, with everyone’s safety at the heart of the event.

The ‘Sunday Funday’ event will incorporate an open-air market selling locally sourced produce, including food, plants and crafts. If you are interested in finding out more about the event, including exhibiting, then please email education@lincolnshireshowground.co.uk to register your interest.
