CHARITY OF THE YEAR 2025 20 Feb

This year Lincolnshire Agricultural Society has chosen to support Linkage Community Trust for 2025!

The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS) is thrilled to announce that Linkage Community Trust has been chosen as the Society’s Charity of the Year for 2025. This exciting partnership will see the two organisations work closely together to raise awareness and vital funds for Linkage, a local Lincolnshire charity dedicated to empowering people with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Founded in 1976, Linkage provides specialist education, care and employment services for individuals with learning disabilities. Through their innovative programs and services, Linkage enables its learners to develop skills, gain independence and thrive within their communities. With a shared commitment to fostering inclusivity and growth, LAS and Linkage Community Trust will collaborate on a range of initiatives throughout the year.

Sarah Eddy, Fundraising Manager at Linkage Community Trust, expressed her excitement about the partnership:

"We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society’s Charity of the Year for 2025. This partnership means so much to us at Linkage Community Trust, as it will not only help raise vital funds to support our learners with learning disabilities but also create greater awareness of the life-changing work we do to empower everyone to achieve their full potential.

We’re excited to work alongside LAS throughout the year, building awareness of our work and celebrating the power of collaboration in our community. On behalf of all of us at Linkage, thank you for this incredible opportunity—we can’t wait to see what we can achieve together!”

The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society is renowned for its commitment to promoting education, sustainability and community engagement across the region. By partnering with Linkage, the LAS aims to shine a spotlight on the invaluable contributions the charity makes to individuals and families across Lincolnshire.

Charlotte Powell, Chief Executive Officer at LAS, said:

“We are honoured to support Linkage Community Trust as our Charity of the Year for 2025. Their dedication to support and empower individuals aligns perfectly with our values for inclusivity and community support. We look forward to working with their team to create a meaningful and impactful year of collaboration.”

Throughout 2025, LAS will host a variety of fundraising events and initiatives to support Linkage’s mission, including activities at The Lincolnshire Show and other community events. Together, the organisations aim to raise awareness, foster inclusion, and create positive change for the people of Lincolnshire.
