Andrew Taylor joins the team 26 Feb

The Showground is a busy events venue, home to whole-site events, conferences, exhibitions, balls, meetings, concerts and award dinners, as well as the annual Lincolnshire Show. Andrew's role as Front of House Supervisor will involve ensuring all our events run smoothly.

What was your role before coming to the Lincolnshire Showground? Before joining the Lincolnshire Showground I was the Food and Beverage Manager at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Lincoln, I had been there for 14 years starting as a kitchen porter progressing through the ranks to oversee all aspects of food and beverage.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role? I'm looking forward to the Lincolnshire Show, having been as a visitor for many years I can’t wait to see it from the other side. With so much going on I am excited to see the logistics of such a big event.

What do you do in your spare time? I spend much of my spare time with my partner and two children, five year old Arthur and two year old Enid; as you can imagine they are quite a handful! I am also a season ticket holder for Lincoln City Football Club, over the years this has been tough going but am enjoying the success the club is currently experiencing.

Welcome to the team, Andrew!
