A Showground proposal 24 Nov

Here at the Lincolnshire Showground we get lots of enquiries for all different types of events, but recently #Showgirl Lauren got an extra special email from a gentleman called Sam.

Sam and his girlfriend Emily decided to 'go official' at an event at the Showground three years ago, and he wanted to borrow our Saxondale building for the afternoon to ask her a very special question.. And Emily said yes!

Sam and Emily are now hoping to get married in 2016. Sam said: "We are both delighted and grateful to yourself and your department for allowing us to use the Saxondale building. It was perfect and it meant so much to Emily and myself."

A huge congratulations from all of the Showground team, and all the best for the future.
