A Day in the Life of…A Delegate 20 Mar

Have you ever wondered what our delegates get up to at a conference at the Lincolnshire Showground? Sophia Williamson our Sales & Events Executive has put together a delegates guide to conferencing at the Lincolnshire Showground.

8.00am
Start the Day Right

Drive along our 270-acre site and take in the fresh Lincolnshire air until you arrive at our EPIC or EXO Centre. With unlimited free parking for all delegates you will be sure to feel relaxed and ready for your day ahead.

8.30am

Let’s Get Energised!

It’s time to indulge in some freshly made Forest fruit smoothies and fresh fruit pots to get your brain energised and ready for the day! For those who want something a little naughtier to start your day then have no fear, we do offer breakfast baps too…

9.00am

Let the Meeting Commence!

All our conference spaces boast floor to ceiling glass windows so that you can take in and be inspired by the beautiful surroundings that we are fortunate to have here. Whether it be views of the Red Arrows flying past or scenic views of our countryside area you will be sure to feel invigorated to learn and to contribute to whatever your day entails…

Did you know that all the bottled water that we serve in our conferences are bottled in-house, which can be poured in-to our biodegradable plastic cups?

11.00am

Elevenses

It is now time to step away from you conference or meeting and have a quick refreshing break of freshly brewed tea or coffee. You can take this time to grab 5 minutes to have a catch-up with some colleagues or have a pow-wow with some clients that you have been meaning to see!

13.00pm

Let’s Feast!

Our dedicated catering team are on hand to provide you with a mouth-watering lunch sure to get those taste buds tingling! From finger buffets to hot fork options, we even have a Lincolnshire Champions menu with the tastes and delights of Lincolnshire.

15.00pm

Time for Some Fresh Air

We love the great outdoors here at the Lincolnshire Showground. Which is why we feel so privileged that our delegates can enjoy the beautiful surroundings, taking time out of their day to enjoy our woodland walks. With guided maps of the best routes, our delegates can get out and experience the place that we are so proud to call home and return to their conference feeling stress free and ready to continue with the day.

Did you know that walking among trees reduces levels of cortisol, a hormone associated with stress?

17.00pm

Time to Say Goodbye…

Set just off the A15 we are only 15 minutes away from Lincoln Central Station which gives our delegates easy access to London, Newark and beyond! We also work closely with hotels around the city so if you don’t fancy driving back just yet we can point you in the right direction
