5 reasons to host your event at the Lincolnshire Showground 02 Feb

1. Location

Lincoln is one of the best kept secrets in England and has been named one of the finest historic cities in Europe. Based just four miles north of the city of Lincoln, the Lincolnshire Showground is just a stone's throw away from the numerous bars, restaurants and quirky cafes, excellent shopping facilities and more than 1,000 hotel beds and the city's excellent road, rail and air links.

2. Space

With 270 acres of land on offer, space is not an issue when it comes to hosting your event at the Lincolnshire Showground. We have flexible space and a site that has a number of different access routes and entry/exit points and car parking space for 13,000 people. Whether it's an indoor or an outdoor event we've got you covered, so let your imagination run wild!

3. Facilities

Aside from the land available for outdoor events, we also have a number of flexible indoor spaces available, including the award-winning, eco-friendly Epic Centre - with roller shutter doors at both ends of the halls which are large enough to even drive a combine harvester through, making it one of the largest in the region. The Epic Centre is one of the greenest conference centres in the UK and has the capacity to host events for up to 1,200 people across 1,386 square metres of purpose-built space.

For a private meeting space, training room or for dinners and smaller gatherings such as a birthday party, christening celebration or small wedding reception, our Tennyson Pavilion is perfect. This modern and versatile space is an exclusive, stand-alone building with spectacular views over the Showground and its very own lawn.

Originally the only event facility on the Showground, our Exhibition Hall is a longstanding, well-utilised space for whole-site events, fairs and exhibitions. Other facilities include equine rings and cattle sheds, commentary box with views over the Main Ring, agricultural sheds ideal for exhibitions, auctions and displays and the Saxondale - a lovely site to create your very own bespoke wedding venue.

4. Flexibility

Due to the variety of facilities and space on offer and the thousands of events we've hosted over the years, we've gained extensive experience and knowledge to bring your ideas to life. The flexibility of our venue means you can use as much or as little space as is needed for your event, so whether you're looking for a venue for a meeting or for a site-wide car rally we have the space and knowledge to help you make it happen.

5. The team

Our team have experienced and put together thousands of different events over the years, so we're able to offer a unique level of support in helping you to plan yours.

Our sales team have helped organisers to put together everything from professional conferences to motorbike rallies and 800 cover dinners to concerts for 17,000 people - they're on hand to help you with every small detail, from professional AV to locally-sourced menus, decor to impress and how best to coordinate an event from your initial enquiry through to the day and beyond.

The Showground and facilities team know our venue absolutely inside out, but most importantly they're trained in executing events safely, and to meet all current regulations. They can help you with everything from licenses, traffic management, contractors and health and safety, and have the experience to advise you on what has worked before, or the best practise we'd recommend so you can concentrate on bringing your event ideas to life.

We all know the importance of promoting your event successfully to your target audience, and that's where our marketing team can help. If your event is open to the public, we're happy to list your event with details, images and a link to where to buy tickets on our website, as well as promotion across our social media channels to ensure that visitors have all the information they need to come to your event. If you'd like a little more support, our experienced team offer three different levels of packages to promote your event far and wide - including the huge variety of people who visit the Showground throughout the year.

Combine all of these reasons with the experience we've gained from hosting an exciting and varied calendar of events annually, as an event organiser you can be confident that from dinners to delegates, exhibitions to entertaining and shows to sustainability, the Lincolnshire Showground team really do live and breathe events.

If you'd like to talk to us about hosting your next event, our friendly sales team would love to hear from you. Give us a call on 01522 522900 or email events@lincolnshireshowground.co.uk
