Long Service Awards - Nominations are Open 28 Feb

The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society are proud to host their prestigious annual Long Service Awards at their flagship event, the Lincolnshire Show.

The Long Service awards celebrates individuals who have worked for the same employer continuously for 40 years or more and is a great way for employers to celebrate the milestones of their employees. To be eligible nominees must be employed as an Agricultural, Commercial, Horticultural or Estate Worker or work in an allied trade, craft or profession.

The presentation is held on the Wednesday of Lincolnshire Show in the members area, where award winners are invited with their families and employers to enjoy light refreshments before being presented with their award. Winners also receive complimentary tickets to Lincolnshire for five years following their first award.

All nominees receive a medal for their first award, this can be applied for from 40 years of service (but can also be applied for longer years of service). After receiving the award, employers are then able to apply for five year bars to be added at the respective years.

The awards are free of charge to enter if the nominating employer is a member of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society. A cost of £60 will be invoiced to any employer who has been a member for less than 2 years, which goes towards the cost of the medal. All members should renew annually to stay eligible.

Click to download the 2023 Long Service Awards application form, and nominations should be sent by March 31st of each year. Alternatively contact Alice Joyce at Membership@lincolnshireshowground.co.uk for further information.
