LAS and LIVES Tractor Run Raises Funds for their charities 24 Feb
The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS) and LIVES are thrilled to announce the success of the LAS & LIVES Tractor Run, which took place yesterday, departing from the Lincolnshire Showground. The event saw a fantastic turnout of enthusiastic supporters who lined the route to cheer on the impressive convoy of tractors, all in aid of two vital local charities.
With funds raised going directly to support the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society's educational initiatives and the lifesaving work of LIVES, the Tractor Run brought together the local farming community, businesses, and residents in a show of generosity and solidarity. The event showcased the strong community spirit of Lincolnshire and highlighted the crucial work of both charities.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, from those who drove their tractors to those who donated and cheered us on along the route,” said Rosie Crust, Head of Charity at the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society. “It was fantastic to see so many people coming together to support our two amazing charities.”
LIVES, which provides rapid emergency medical response across Lincolnshire, and the LAS, which works to educate and inspire future generations about food, farming, and the countryside, both rely on the generosity of the public to continue their important work. Yesterday’s event was a perfect example of how the community can come together to make a real difference.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the participants, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who made the LAS & LIVES Tractor Run such a success,” added Emmie Shaw, Corporate and Community Partnerships Officer at LIVES. “Your contributions will help us continue to provide lifesaving medical care across the county.”
