Another week of #CoronaKindness 09 Apr

We've seen so many amazing acts of kindness in the last few weeks to help the current Coronavirus situation, and no matter how big or small, anything helps!

Here is a list of local Lincolnshire businesses who are 'doing their bit' to help in any way they can…

RG Carter

Our Charity of the Year St Barnabas Hospice recently put out a call for urgent donations of PPE equipment due to a shortage. Jayne Southall our CEO contacted her son who works for RG Carter who quickly jumped at the chance to help the charity, collecting 2000 pairs of disposable gloves and supplying them to the St Barnabas Hospice headquarters on Nettleham Road. St Barnabas are still in need of PPE equipment such as disposable gloves, disposable face masks, water repellent face masks and visors, if you have any please call Alison on 07850 083 281.

Pepperell’s

The amazing team at Pepperell’s Solicitors have been liaising with the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust to keep local businesses updated on items the NHS teams need right now, so far, they’ve delivered 400 shower gels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lip balms, sweets, gloves, bottled water and crisps. The team are working hard to arrange collection and deliveries to the local hospitals, if you have any items such as face masks, face wipes, hand creams please contact Pepperell’s Solicitors on 01482 326511 or email helpdesk@pepperells.com.

Healing Manor

Once again, the fantastic team at Healing Manor have been helping their local community by asking people to #NominateYourNeighbour as they are pledging to deliver over 30 free hot meals to someone who may need a treat on their doorstep this Easter. They are asking for nominations for neighbours, friends or family who are currently stuck at home, either self-isolating or working as a Critical or Keyworker. Nominations can be made through this form: https://healingmanorhotel.us3.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=d57e2c82dc834166dadcb862a&id=393cc024ab

BAE Systems

Our friends and supporters BAE Systems have been supporting the national ventilator effort, employees across their business have rallied to donate vital PPE to the NHS. Employees in their Air sector are 3D printing parts for newly designed face shields plus they are sourcing tens of thousands of additional face shields through their supply chains to distribute to the NHS on their behalf. Already 20,000 face shields are on their way to locations around the country with the remaining set to be delivered to the NHS this month!
