Planning events can be daunting, especially if you are new to event planning. At the Lincolnshire Showground we praise ourselves for adding a personal touch to each event. Sophia Phillips, Sales and Events Manger, is always on hand to help. Here are Sophia’s top tips:

1. Early Planning is Crucial:

Initiate the planning process well in advance to secure dates and facilities and develop a detailed timeline with clear tasks and deadlines.

2. Maximise Venue Features:

Familiarise yourself with the site's flexible layouts. Utilise both indoor and outdoor spaces effectively by incorporate team-building activities to maintain participant engagement.

3. Customise Layout for Engagement:

Tailor seating arrangements and exhibition spaces to meet specific needs, ensuring a layout that fosters networking and engagement.

4. Ensure Tech-Readiness:

Confirm technical capabilities for presentations and audio-visual setups.

Have a technical support team on standby for troubleshooting.

5. Prioritise Attendee Comfort and Logistics:

Collaborate with caterers for diverse, high-quality menu options.

Manage logistical considerations, including transportation and use the ample complimentary parking onsite.

Collect post-event feedback from attendees to enhance your future events!

Focusing on these critical areas will ensure a successful event at the Lincolnshire Showground.
