Meet the exhibitor: Hannah's Craft Cottage 24 Oct

Contributed by Hannah's Craft Cottage

Hannah's Craft Cottage is a mother and daughter team based near the Lincolnshire coast. The business came about as diversifying as part of Snapdragons Florist in Burgh-le-Marsh with some handmade items and cards adding to the range of fresh and artificial flowers, vases and containers available in the shop. It has now expanded to including selling items on online shop Folksy and taking things out and about to sell at local fairs and events.

Hannah is a keen hand sewer and makes and designs a range of felt decorations which are not only great for Christmas but any time of the year. She also likes to crochet - with her quirky birds always proving popular! - and is also responsible for most of the handmade cards. New for items for this year's Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair from Hannah include cute crochet sprout decorations and vintage teacup pincushions complete with magnetic pin plate.

Linda used to attend large craft shows all across the country when Hannah was small, selling her tatting - a type of knotted lace made with a shuttle, a skill that was passed down to her through her aunts. She has now dusted off her shuttle and intricate bookmarks and keyrings can be found amongst the range of things they sell. Linda is also a keen sewer, making many of the fabric items including great stocking fillers such as lavender bags, tissue and nail file holders. At the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair she hopes to do well again with her Christmas fabric table runners and new item for this year, rag wreaths.

The team are sure that there's something for everyone on their stand so don't miss Hannah's Craft Cottage at this year's Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December. To find out more or to buy your tickets online, just click here. We hope to see you there!
