Lincolnshire's young entrepreneurs offered chance to 'Grow with the Show' 06 Mar

The competition - which closes 19 March 2018 - invites young entrepreneurs aged 18-35-years-old to boost their businesses by bagging themselves a free exhibition stand at the Lincolnshire Show and showcase their product or service to more than 60,000 people.

The winning businesses will also receive a £250 cash prize, expert mentoring from Sparkhouse, an invitation to the Lincolnshire Media Business Awards and free business stationery designed by Root Studio.

Exclusively open to Lincolnshire-based businesses under three-years-old, the initiative has helped provide a number of local businesses essential exposure for their growing brand.

Sally Mundy, sponsorship and trade sales manager at the Lincolnshire Showground, said: “This is a great opportunity for any growing business, from gardeners and bakers to t-shirt printers and entertainers.

“Thousands of people visit the Lincolnshire Show in June, so it’s great exposure for your new business venture.

“As a charity, we’re focussed on supporting our local community and those looking to boost the Lincolnshire economy. As well as offering a platform to show case their talent the competition also provides crucial mentoring and materials to help them take their ideas to the next level.”

The closing date for entry forms is 19 March. The shortlisted entries will be invited to meet with a panel of judges on 12 April and the winner announced shortly after.

Two talented runners up will receive a £100 cash prize, plus two Lincolnshire Agricultural Society guest badges giving admission to the Lincolnshire Show and access to the exclusive ringside member’s area.

Lincolnshire Show will take place on 20 and 21 June and will host an eclectic mix of entertainment, food, shopping, music, horticulture and agriculture.
