The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, NFU and Lincolnshire YFC are working together to bring this exciting initiative back for 2020 - to take a tractor into every Lincolnshire School!
This initiative aims to educate future generations about the importance of food, farming and the countryside by taking a tractor into schools across the county.
Our previous three ‘Tractors into Schools’ campaigns were very successful:
- 6,000 children took part in Tractors into Schools
- 176 farmers were involved in the project
- We visited 101 Schools
Would you like to get involved in the initiative, to make it even bigger and better in 2021?
We want to build much closer links between schools and the farming community. By linking schools up with farmers, this will help children gain a better understanding of what agriculture is all about and understand the role the tractor plays in bringing food to our tables.
