St Barnabas will be collecting trees from Saturday 6th January until Wednesday 10th January 2024. Registrations are open between Friday 24th November 2023 and Wednesday 3rd January 2024. Christmas trees are collected in aid of Hospice care.
Your tree will be collected by wonderful volunteers. As we’re unable to specify a collection date or time, please ensure your tree is left in a clearly visible, accessible and unobstructed location outside of your property by 8am on Saturday 6th January 2024.
Our volunteers are unable, under any circumstance, to enter your property (e.g. house, back garden, shed etc). If we cannot see your tree, we will leave a calling card to let you know we visited. Please note that we are only able to collect trees under 6ft. If you are wishing for more than one tree to be collected, please ensure your donation reflects this.
Each January, St Barnabas and their wonderful supporters go across the county to collect your Christmas trees and recycle them! All they ask in return is that you make a suggested minimum donation to help us care for our patients living with life-limiting or terminal illness across Lincolnshire.
Their friendly team of Christmas elves will take care of your tree in the most environmentally responsible way, meaning you don’t need to make a trip to the tip or spend time vacuuming needles out of your car. Most trees are recycled and used for gardening mulch, whilst some are used for agricultural fertiliser and animal bedding.
