Join us for the Lincolnshire Rural Charities Dinner
On the 28th of April 2022, we will once again be working together to host the fourth “Lincolnshire Rural Charities Dinner” in the magnificent setting of the Epic Centre on the Lincolnshire Showground. The dinner is to celebrate the work of three charities that actively work to support communities throughout Lincolnshire and beyond.
The Lincolnshire Rural Support Network helps over 193 rural families a year with practical advice, emotional support, and health screening services.
The newly formed Lincolnshire Rural and Agricultural Chaplaincy has the specific purpose to secure the long term future of agricultural in Lincolnshire and the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society’s Educational Trust works to promote food and farming. These charities all provide vital services within Lincolnshire and rely extensively on fund-raising for their continued work.
The evening will celebrate Lincolnshire’s resilience and fortitude with the theme of “Thinking Bigger Together” , based on an adapted poem “Think Big” by Walter D Wintle, who’s motivational prose in the final verse “Life’s battles don’t always go to the strongest or fastest man, but sooner or later the person who wins is the person who thinks he can” symbolises the way the charities have adapted to continue working positively throughout the corona virus pandemic.
Guests will be guaranteed a magnificent meal of Lincolnshire produce designed and introduced by Rachel Green, Lincolnshire’s celebrity chef and a passionate ambassador of British produce, during an evening of fine dining and entertainment.
The dinner is an opportunity to entertain your guests in style whilst helping to raise much needed funds, as well as awareness of the three charities.
Tickets are £80pp and can be purchased by contacting della.armstrong@lrsn.co.uk
