The Lincolnshire Rural Charities will once again be working together to host a “Lincolnshire Rural Charities Summer Ball” in the magnificent setting of the Epic Centre on the Lincolnshire Showground. The Summer Ball will celebrate the work of the three charities that actively work to support rural communities throughout Lincolnshire. The Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN) helps over 216 rural families a year with practical advice, emotional support, and health screening services. The Lincolnshire Rural and Agricultural Chaplaincy (LRAC) has the specific purpose to secure the long-term future of Agricultural Chaplains in Lincolnshire preparing for the retirement for long serving Lead Chaplain Alan, and the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS) Educational Trust works to promote food and farming. These charities all provide vital services within Lincolnshire and rely extensively on fundraising for their continued work. This Summer Ball is an opportunity to entertain your guests in style whilst helping to raise much needed funds and awareness of the three charities.
The evening is a celebration of Lincolnshire’s resilience and fortitude, and we will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of LRSN’s support for Lincolnshire’s agricultural and horticultural communities and celebrating 25 years of Alan’s chaplaincy (LRAC), together with the LAS, the Summer Ball recognises the valuable contribution of agriculture and horticulture to Lincolnshire and the vital support these charities have provided to these communities over the years.
Guests will be guaranteed a magnificent meal full of Lincolnshire produce and fantastic live music from the Lincolnshire based The Rumble Band, one of the top 60’s style Soul Bands in the UK today, with a 13 piece Soul and Motown dance band, spanning a 35 year career, with outstanding and exciting live performances. The Rumble Band, together with appearances throughout the night with DJ Blackgrass, will ensure that the dance floor sways to the music all night long.
