In January we hold breakfast workshops with local school children to learn all about healthy eating and where our breakfast foods come from!
For a whole week, school children from across the county are given the opportunity to get really hands-on with lots of fun farm-to-fork interactive activities focused on the most important meal of the day - breakfast!

'It is always such a pleasure to be involved with Farmhouse Breakfast Week. We're so passionate about encouraging children and families to have healthy, filling breakfasts, and Farmhouse Breakfast Week is the perfect opportunity to get kids cooking and learning about why breakfast is so important. It's incredible to see the school children getting stuck in, asking lots of questions, trying lots of breakfast foods - sometimes for the first time - and enjoying it!'
Some quotes from schools involved with Farmhouse Breakfast Week...
We have had a lovely morning learning about where our food comes from. The activities were pitched perfectly to our children and the staff were very attentive, interacting really well with the children. The children have thoroughly enjoyed their learning today, especially as the activities were so practical. Lots of them have eaten new foods and can’t wait to share their learning at home. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed today’s visit. Staff were really pro-active in ensuring all children were fully engaged and could participate. The whole event was superbly organised. We would love to be invited again next year.
