Teachers' Area

This area gives you access to further enhance your food, farming and countryside curriculum. With information on available funding to contribute towards transport costs and funding available to develop your own allotment in school, more information to support your curriculum can be found here.

School Talks

Would you like a talk to bring farming alive for your class?

Our Education and Development Officer is happy to give talks and generally enthuse young people about food and farming. We can tailor a talk to fit in with your curriculum and projects, so get in touch and let's see how we can work together.

Education Funding

We’re pleased to be able to offer local Schools funding to contribute towards transport costs and giving school groups the opportunity to visit farms and other sites related to agriculture. The funding is also available to help Lincolnshire schools develop their own gardens and allotments.

To be considered for a grant, Lincolnshire schools will be asked to submit a simple outline of the proposed visit, including the purpose, age range of pupils and numbers involved and detail how the curriculum will be enriched by the visit. A member of the team will then send you the application form if appropriate.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, then contact Rosie Crust on education@lincolnshireshowground.co.uk or 01522 522900, who will be happy to give you more information.
