As well as arranging our own education initiatives and events, we also work with local educational establishments to support their programmes each year too!
We're building a great relationship with the University of Lincoln by supporting the students with their studies from first year through to final year students.
First year students analyse the Lincolnshire Show website for functionality and appeal and compare it to other agricultural show websites. The second year students are involved by visiting the Showground on a field trip to put all their theory into practice in the workplace and the third year students work alongside our marketing team on a consultancy project, designed to bridge the gap between the classroom and industry and help to prepare students for future employability.
"I just wanted to say thank you so much for allowing several of your team to assist across many different modules this term at the university. The students and I value the input and expertise provided by your team so much and we know it is beneficial for student future career prospects. We are very grateful."

We work alongside LGTA in conjunction with CITB and Lincolnshire & Rutland EBP to hold a career taster event for Lincolnshire schoolchildren, giving them an insight into the construction industry from the best in the business.
For three days each year, the Showground is converted into a workshop for more than 20 different activities, including joinery, plastering, plumbing, building, painting and decorating. As well as trying the various activities for themselves, students have the chance to quiz the professionals on the industry itself and what day-to-day life is like. Pupils from schools all over Lincolnshire attend Construction Week at the Showground, which is supported by companies and organisations from across the county.
The Lincoln Knights' Trail is taking place from May - September to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the sealing of the Charter of the Forest. The EBP, a Lincoln-based social enterprise, has been appointed as the trail's official education partner. We are excited to work with The EBP to launch the knights' education trail at the 2017 Lincolnshire Show on 21 and 22 June, where half-sized knights will form a mini trail around the Lincolnshire Showground.
We have a number of educational areas and activities at the show, and the trail will encourage even more schools to visit and take part, as well as adding another interactive, fun element to the show for children and adults alike.
