All the fun of the fair with Arthur Swallow Fairs' Antique and Vintage events 20 Mar

Antiques & Home Show

Arthur Swallow Fairs host around 25 annual antiques, vintage, collectors and decorate home events up and down the country, with almost half of them taking place here at the Lincolnshire Showground. Trade and public buyers from all over the world regularly visit the Antiques and Home Show to indulge in shopping for some of the finest antiques, collectables, vintage, salvage, art, gardenalia, jewellery, militaria, china and silver available in the UK.

This buzzing, well-established two-day event is a hit with many - including home-renovators, upcyclers, interior designers, retail buyers, set-designers, props buyers and those who are simply passionate about creating a stylish living space. This is a place where the curious comes up for sale, fantastic stories are told about history and provenance and people get supremely passionate about trend, style and the things they love - and there is always a bargain waiting to be bagged. With easy to navigate walkways, the layout of the show is such that you can enjoy perusing avenues of marquees, a myriad of brocante style pitches, and a dry inside area in the Epic Centre without any hassle. With maps available in the show office, on-site catering and buggies on request for those who need assistance, this is shopping made easy. If you feel inspired then get planning, but don't forget to come equipped with a comfortable pair of shoes, all weather-wear and a big bag or trolley to take your purchases home in - read these two helpful blogs with top tips on what to look out for and how to buy at fairs.

Vintage Flea Market

New for 2017 is the Vintage Flea Market, a reincarnation of the previous Sunday Antiques Market which ran successfully for several years in the Exhibition Hall. With a high demand for all things vintage, this new event, which launched in February, is proving to be a hit with local buyers looking for a bargain - read about the first market here.

The flea market is perfect for those of you who love spending your weekend hunting for vintage books, toys and tools, kitchenware, ceramics and glass, clothes, textiles and jewellery - plus striking pieces of furniture. Popular with all ages, you'll find children spending their pocket money on vintage Corgi cars, young homemakers investing in decorate items, and more seasoned buyers picking up bits to complete time-nurtured collections - there really is something here for everybody, and price tags to suit all budgets.

There's plenty of space to park at the venue, a cafe serving tea, coffee and snacks and an 'all welcome' policy (including dogs). This is a friendly affair and a great way to enjoy your Sunday.

Save these upcoming dates for 2017 Vintage Flea Markets: April 23, May 21, July 1, September 17, November 19. For more information, just click here.
